Among Ali’s greatest pleasures, which include petting every dog, trying not to fall off her bike, talking to anyone who will listen–or not–about contemporary art, and hitting every pizza place and coffee shop in Philadelphia (if a combination of the two exists, she needs to know urgently), singing has always resided at the top of the list. Ali’s love for performance really took hold when she decided in 2002 that she needed to become the next Michelle Branch. Although she is sadly not responsible for the hit single “Everywhere,” Ali has participated in a cappella groups and theater for over 15 years, the most consistent commitment to a hobby she’s ever made.
